I'm not in the business of rumor mongering...
But, this comes from Rob Neyer's chat tonight:
"Any truth to this? The Boston Red Sox have an agreement to trade Nomar to the Chicago White Sox, with White Sox to trade prospects to Arizona, who send Randy Johnson to Boston. MLB trying to hold announcement off until tomorrow, as it generally does not allow significant announcements day of All-Star game."
If this is true, Kenny Williams is dumber than I thought, if that's possible.

The big rumor now is Nomar coming to the Cubs, with Randy Johnson to the Red Sox, pitching prospects to the Snakes. The New York Times reported this rumor this morning, but more importantly, I blogged on it. I have mixed feelings about the trade, but overall, I think it would be pretty darn cool to see Nomar in Cubby blue, possibly hitting in the 2 spot.
